The ground rules

Ninefold is run by Golden Echo LLC, an Indiana limited liability company (“we”). By using nine-fold.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What the test is, and isn't

  • The Enneagram is a descriptive tool for self-reflection, not a scientific diagnosis or a source of truth about who you are. Your result is our best estimate, shown with how confident the test is. You know yourself better than any test.
  • Nothing on Ninefold is medical, psychological, legal or professional advice. If you're struggling, please talk to a counselor, pastor or doctor.
  • Our test is new and improving. We don't promise any particular accuracy, and we'll only publish accuracy figures once we've measured them.
  • Our faith content reflects our understanding of Scripture. It doesn't replace your church, your pastor or your own reading of the Bible.

2. Please don't use results to judge people

Don't use Ninefold results to hire, fire, promote, admit, exclude or rank anyone, or to label someone against their will. Type describes patterns, not worth: no type is better than another.

3. Our content

  • The text, test statements, design, logo and name on Ninefold belong to Golden Echo LLC or its licensors.
  • You're welcome to use the site for yourself, your family, your small group or your church, and to share links and short quotes with credit to Ninefold.
  • Please don't copy the test, its statements or our type descriptions, republish them elsewhere, or scrape the site.
  • Bible passages come from public-domain translations (the Berean Standard Bible, the King James Version and the World English Bible).

4. Using the site fairly

Don't submit fake or automated research responses, try to get around the site's security, or use the site in a way that harms others or the site. Research sharing is for adults 18 and older and is covered by our privacy policy.

5. No warranty, and limits on liability

We provide Ninefold “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We aren't liable for decisions you make based on your results or our content, or for indirect or consequential losses. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

6. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; we'll post the new version here with a new date, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
